LLUM

The last two nights we enjoyed the LLUM light arts festival. From the official website:

Llum BCN is a leading lighting arts festival in Europe and a cultural event highly appreciated by the citizens of Barcelona. Organized by Barcelona City Council, Llum BCN brings together interventions by creators from all areas of the visual arts, including contemporary art, design, architecture, technology and lighting design.

This is the kind of creative event that factored in to our decision to move to Barcelona. The amount of creative activity here is astounding, not to mention the fact the city does so much to encourage it. It seems there is always a festival going on here: this week marks the start of Carnaval and who knows what that will entail, but we will find out!
